Yay Jamie

I was all set to congratulate myself for my previous posts - thinking I had done two in one week and then I went back to look at the dates. It wasn't two in one week, it was once a week for two weeks. And, now I'm back for my third straight week. That's something to be proud of, right? I guess I need to get my camera out a little bit more often, then I'd have lots to share with you since I can only post when I have pictures. =)
I did find these pictures that I forgot that I had taken. Tom and I were busy watching Dancing with the Stars and happened to look over to find that Hannah had pulled herself over a chair and was in the frosting. I guess that's what I get for being lazy and leaving the frosting out. There's nothing like a good spoonful of sugar right before bedtime.
Making sure Daddy's not looking...
Busted!
Hannah and I are happy to report that there are only 17 more working days until tax season is O.V.E.R. YAY - That's all for now. Hugs to you all.
Oh and...Caryl in case you decide to read this (ha ha) your CPA would like to know where your tax stuff is...he hasn't seen it yet.

Oranges

Nothing exciting to share today. Hannah and I are enjoying my day off. So far we've had our coffee/milk, Hannah's taken a bath, I've started a load of laundry and...that's about it. I'm thinking that we might have to venture outside today - the sun is shining and it's BeAuTiFuL! If only it was just a tad bit warmer. I'm posting some pictures from the other day of Hannah and her new love - ORANGES! The girl would eat oranges all day long if I would let her. Her cousin Ashlyn taught her how to eat oranges the right way. =) Hope you're all having a happy day.
Happy Spring!

Drip Drop

** Had this post ready to go last WEDNESDAY but between me working and with Karl getting his new heart, haven't had time to actually get it posted. **

We have a leak. That's right a leak. The extremely loud "drip, drip, drip" woke Tom and I at 4:30 this morning. We haven't found any evidence of the leak, but we know it's there. We're thinking that it's somewhere in the attic, but we're just not sure. Tom took a quick look this morning before work but couldn't see anything. So...we've got a call into the builder but he hasn't bothered to return our call, so for now we'll wait and hope the rain skips over our house.
** As for our leak, we haven't heard it since, and the builder was "calling the roofers right away"...that was on Thursday and it's now Monday and we haven't heard a word AND surprise, surprise - it's raining! **

I've got some pictures here of Hannah and one of her first attempts at dressing up. She's such a nut. She found one of my nightgowns (courtesy of Aunt Julie) and just had to put it on. She put it on and then of course we had to "dance, dance". At first we were having some serious wardrobe malfunctions but we got that all straightend out.

Then, she would hide in my scrapbook closet and she would announce herself..."and here is Hannah Walker", which actually sounded nothing like that. It went more like "and...is nana naner" and she'd fling herself out of the closet and want to start dancing. Such a character.

We're working on the potty training. Tom and I keep saying with each trip to Costco that this IS the last box of diapers we buy. She's just so DARN stubborn. Not sure where she gets that. =) I wouldn't have a problem with her and her diapers except she tells me when I need to change her. I'm pretty sure that's a good indicator that she's ready. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. So for now we've bribed her with a trip to Disneyland (Belle's house) if she does her business on the big girl potty.

We'll see how that goes.

Tax, Tax, Tax

Well...I don't have much to say other than I love tax season! It seems to be the only thing consuming our family these days. And...there is only 34 more days to go until Tom re-joins the family. YIPPEE!! He's been working right about 12 hours a day, Monday - Saturday. Hannah's so cute...It doesn't matter where he is but when you ask her where her daddy is she always tilts her head to the left and sighs as she says "woorrrk" or someplace else that I'm sure Tom would rather I not mention. It's pretty funny. And if you ask her what daddy does at work, she gets all excited and says "tax"! If only she knew how exciting that truly was. =)

Let's see what else is new - nothing really. Hannah's learning to count - she can successfully count to 5 and then she seems to forget what exactly it is she's doing. We're still working on her colors. She can't seem to get past blue. Everything is blue. But, I do have to say if you ask her for the (enter color here) crayon she can usually get the right one for you. Speaking of coloring. Sigh. We have a budding artist on our hands. Our living room wall has been beautifully decorated by Hannah. I believe the color she used was midnight blue. Also, one of Tom's new work shirts has orange highlighter on it. I'm sure he'll appreciate that when he gets home. Let's just say that the crayons/markers have been put in a time out for a WEEK. We'll see how that goes with our little artist. I don't think I have any exciting pictures to share but what's a post if you don't have a picture, right? So I'll leave you with Tom and his birthday present from me and Hannah with her blueberry lips. Love to you all.
