OK, I already know that this is going to be picture overload! I was just clicking away all while enjoying the day. Not much to say other than it was the 4
th of July, it was hot, we went to the parade, sported a super cute wagon that the kids decorated, went to my moms, celebrated Cameron again, encountered four mishaps, I ate too many
s'mores (just
marshmallows, really) all while Tom drank too much. =) Probably not supposed to say that, am I? Oh well. I love you honey! =)
Edited...Tom wanted me to clarify that it's not that he drank too much, it's just that he didn't drink enough water! =) Right now I'm at 28 pictures. 28 out of 100 pictures, I've whittled it down pretty good. I'll try and weed out a few more in effort to not bore you with pictures of my adorable girls. =)
The kids and their flag fans and decorated wagon. Didn't they do a great job?!

Little Ms. Poser
Anticipation.
Pre-parade pooches. Emerson LOVED them. She sat down right next to them and when they left, she got up and went with them.
Aww...

Oh, so excited for the parade.

Our wild one!

Too loud for the young-ins. =)
I missed out on the free firemen calendars. I didn't feel I should wrestle the lady next to me for one...you know...in front of the kids. =)
We got all excited with this fire truck...he moved the hose as if he was going to spray us, no such luck for us on this hot day. Come to think of it, do they even have water on these trucks? Is the blonde in me coming out? =)

One of our favorite
performances. So very tricky!

One of our favorite girls...looking so cute.
These guys came walking down the street as they were cleaning up. I think they forgot to register in time. We thought they were the cutest, the animals that is!
And now on to the party at moms. Emerson and Cole had fun with the slip-n-slide. It was a perfect size drinking fountain.
Ashlyn and Hannah the watermelon girls.

Seriously, isn't Cole the cutest little guy? I just love him.

Tom & Emmie watching the sparkler show.

"Oh ya, I've got a sparkler..."
David, Caitlin, Casey & Brittany...trouble.

Hannah and Jake...taking cover in our trunk.

When you ask Emerson if she wants a Popsicle, this is the face you get.

Our little Caitlin finally has a boyfriend, Alex. She tried to talk him out of coming to the party. I wonder why? Could it have been the endless teasing from her uncle and aunt, or the endless
embarrassing stories we could have told?? =) He's a really sweet guy and we're so happy for her.

Hannah's new look...glow bracelet and necklaces. Can a girl have too many? Never!

The arsenal...

Part of the beautiful show.

So I managed to whittle it down a bit more, but there's still a lot of pictures. =) I mentioned that there were 4 mishaps. Poor Hannah had a rough night. It started with the sparklers, she touched one and burned her finger pretty good, and that was the end of sparklers for her, before it even got dark. =) Then while the little ones were doing the sparklers, the bigger kids were letting off bottle rockets. One tipped over and shot right at the kids hitting Hannah in the thigh and Madison on the wrist. Both are fine, just shook them up a bit. Then a little later, Hannah fell and hit her head and shoulder on the corner of the
s'more table. After a few ice packs and a couple band-aids we were good to go. We went outside to watch the fireworks and all was good until one of David's displays went a little crazy. Instead of shooting up in the sky it shot sideways right at us. Talk about a scary moment. The folks sitting on or in front of the cars all jumped and ran behind the cars. I was sitting with my mom who was holding a sleeping Emmie near the house. I jumped up pulled the blanket over Emerson and stood for a moment in front of them, I then took cover behind my mom. Funny how that works. =) Thank goodness it wasn't a big display and it only lasted a few seconds. More importantly thank goodness no one got hurt! Despite the mishaps, we all had a great night. As we were packing up to head home Hannah informed us that it was "her best night ever!". Can't beat that.
