Our little cheerleader

We signed Hannah up for a cheerleading clinic that was put on by the high school. She was pretty excited until it actually came time to go.  She had a few butterflies in her tummy but once she saw a friend from school she was good to go.  Cheer (1)This one really wanted to get out there and join the big girls.Cheer (2)She’s warming up…ready, let’s go.Cheer (5)I wanted to post the video of Hannah doing the cheer but she asked that I don’t.  Sorry Nana.  But, Emmie did say that I could post hers.  This girl can m.o.v.e!!

Cheerleader Emmie

Seriously she makes me laugh!!  As for our little cheerleader, well, I think she (Hannah) thought she’d enjoy it more than she really did… At least she gave it a try.  :)

Whenever she’s quiet I know she’s up to something.  Today it was the soda.  She thought she could sneak a little.  Faces (1)How’s that going for you?Faces (2)Not so good?Faces (3)You mean you can’t pour it with the cup on top?Faces (4)Need some help?Faces (8)With those eyes and that face, yes, this Mama will do pretty much anything for you.  Faces (10)

The last of the snow…

When I bought the last toboggan at Haggen’s on Tuesday I was certain that we wouldn’t get  any snow.  Boy was I wrong!  We’ve used it every day to take our daily walks to the store. I promise that these are the last of the snow pictures.  But when you’re not used to the snow  you’ve got to take full advantage of it while it’s here.  Thankfully we did just that!

Wednesday…Snow 3 (6)Thursday…IMG_0131So much snow!  And today was the day they said it would turn to rain and melt.  No signs of it stopping here!IMG_0132Someone fell right out of the toboggan.  :)IMG_0134Hannah and Mimi.  Mimi’s face is hidden by her hat and scarf, but she’s really there. :)IMG_0135

A week off of school and lots of snow memories…my kind of week for sure!

Snow Day 2

I won’t bore you with ALL of my snow pictures but I will share a few.  Day 2 of the storm.  We were supposed to wake up to a few inches of snow, according to the weather people, so when I woke up to hardly anything I began to think they were big fat liars.Snow 2 (1)By noon I began to think that maybe they might just know what they were talking about.Snow 2 (6)My friend Kira thought we should take the girls for a snow walk.  As much as I didn’t really want to go, I am so glad she talked me in to it.  It was worth the cold. :)  I decided not to fight Hannah about the snow pants issue and we went out with an agreement that she wouldn’t complain/whine about being cold or wet.  She did pretty good about keeping up with her end of the bargain.  I only had to remind her once about that promise.

We came back from our walk and Hannah promptly went and changed out of her wet jeans and came out with a dry pair along with a pair of leggings on underneath.  The girl just wouldn’t wear the snow pants.

Her friend TiTi came out for a little fun.  Snow 2 (10)Snow 2 (11)And then Aubrey joined us.  Those two and their umbrellas.  So cute!Snow 2 (23)We finally came in after spending most of the afternoon outside.  We had hot chocolate and warmed up by the “fire”.  It was a great afternoon.

Aunt Kim gave Hannah Shrinky Dinks for Christmas.  We all agreed that tonight was a great night for them.  Snow 2 (30)I do believe that the best part of the night was watching these two watching them shrink.  So cute.Snow 2 (31)

Two thumbs up for our first snow day!
