Tax Season Kick-Off

I promised the girls that the first Saturday that Tom had to work, we'd do something fun and they would get to pick what it was.  It wasn't a hard decision for the girls - lunch at the American Girl Bistro.  Talk about having two very excited little girls!  I wasn't much of a doll girl myself so this is all kind of new to me.  I have to admit that it's easy to get caught up in the cuteness of it all.  :)

The girls had lots of fun and they are already planning their next Bistro adventure.  Thankfully the food is pretty good and not too overly priced. :)  One Saturday down 12 more to go!

Problems…

I’m having computer problems.  I went and got a new computer and now Blogger will only let me post from the old computer.  Go figure.  I don’t have a bunch to share just a few pictures from our busy month.

We’ve had a few really beautiful days this month, but boy were they cold.  The girls and I braved the cold and went to Forest Park.  The girls could have stayed a while longer, but this mama was cold.  They weren’t too happy with me but they did pose nicely for a picture before we headed out.Hannah made it into the Everett Herald with her response to “how to get your kids to eat broccoli”.  She makes me laugh.We got a little snow.  It was just enough to go outside and try and catch them on our tongues.  :)  We’ve got our fingers and toes crossed that we get a little more.  Hannah’s school did a Hawk’s night out with the Silvertips.  I think there were a total of 4 families there.  Regardless, we all had a good time.

And last but not least, the school got a new piece of playground equipment.  Anyone who has donated to any of her fundraisers helped us purchase it.  The kids all love it, I personally think it’s a bit scary. :)

Hopefully, I’ll get my computer/blogger problem figured out and be back sooner rather than later.  Hugs!

2012 Recap

Here’s a little video that picks up from where I left off back in March.  It recaps our year and will allow me to go forward into the new year with the blog.  I was having a hard time blogging when I left out so much of our year.  Go get a cup of coffee and sit back and enjoy our little review.  It may or may not  be 10  minutes long…you’ve been warned. :)
