It's a....

.
.
.
...BABY!!! We did it...we managed to get out of the ultrasound without finding out what gender this little baby is. As much as I'm wanting to know now, I know that it'll be worth it to wait until December. The downside to the whole ultrasound was that my due date got moved back to the 20th. That was a big bummer for me. The 20th was my cut-off date - if we hadn't had the baby by then, I was going to request to be induced. I figured it was close enough to Christmas. I think I'll be checking with the Doctor next Wednesday to see what she really thinks. =) I was hoping to have my own pictures to share with you all but we weren't allowed to have any sort of camera on during the ultrasound. Had I been thinking clearly, I should have remembered to get a picture of all of us in the small little room. Tom, my mom, Tom's mom, Jen, the tech and myself were all crammed into a teeny tiny room with no air circulation, of course. It was warm and we were in there for an hour and a half thanks to the little baby that was always on the move not wanting to pose for any of the required pictures. Such the opposite of Hannah who was very cooperative during her ultrasound. So, here are the pictures. I've attempted to label the first one, hopefully it doesn't take away from the sweetness of the baby's profile, and the second one is pretty easy. I even figured it out without having to be told! =) Enjoy our little one, and I'll be back later this week with Wedding Weekend #2 pictures.

What's that??? I think the baby is saying Hi to it's Mama...

And now after fiddling with the scanner and finally getting these pictures posted...I'm SO disappointed with the pictures we got. These were the only two that I felt were worth posting. I guess that's what you get when the wee one doesn't feel like cooperating. Hmmmm....I wonder if I can talk the Dr into ordering another ultrasound...

Wedding Weekend #1

Well, we're back from Ocean Shores and our first wedding of the summer. Tom's sister Kim got married on the 21st. Her and her new husband, Paul, were planning to get married on the beach, but Mother Nature had another plan for them. On Saturday it rained and rained and then the wind started in. It was crazy. Judy and Kevin (Tom's mom and step-dad) were planning on having the reception at their house so we just moved the ceremony there too. It all worked out wonderfully. If you ask Hannah how the wedding went she says "Kim was pretty". I think that pretty much sums it up. =) It was nice to see family that we haven't seen and cousins that we haven't had a chance to meet yet. Hannah had fun playing with Malia and Maya, Tom's step-mom's, nieces', daughter. Following me? And then she had fun, as always, playing with all of her Spokane cousins. We didn't get to spend much time on the beach because of the bad weather, but we did get a few walks in. We're home now and we're getting ready, or should I say rested, for my cousin Heather's wedding on Friday. Hannah is sure looking forward to boogie-ing down with her Papa Larry. =)

And other exciting news from us...our Ultrasound is TOMORROW!! I think Tom and I have decided NOT to find out the gender of this baby until it makes it's arrival in December. =) But I'll do my darndest to post what pictures we do get. Yay, Yay, Yay!!!

The Pohl's and the 4th

Phew! What a busy few weeks! It seems like we've been going, going, going...but it's a good busy. Our good friends the Pohls (Ed, Jen, Grace and Hunter) just moved "home" from Okinawa, Japan after spending 6 years there. They're staying in Everett until base housing in Spokane becomes available. It's SO nice to have them home and to actually spend time with them and not have to worry about when they have to head back. Hannah is having so much fun with Grace and Hunter. She wants to follow them everywhere and do everything they do. I suspect they'll be tiring of her soon, if they haven't already done so.

We had a really nice 4th of July. We had a BBQ at my moms house and also celebrated Cameron's 19th birthday. It's hard for me to believe that Cameron is already 19. CRAZY! It was a beautiful day. One of the nicest 4ths I can remember. Hannah loved the fireworks this year. Last year we hid upstairs in Grandma Bonnie's room and this year she wanted to be right down in the mix of things. Thank goodness Uncle David shared his sparklers and pop-it's, because Daddy didn't buy anything for fear that Hannah would want nothing to do with them. =)Here are a few pictures of our beautiful 4th of July.

On a baby side note...I just scheduled our ultrasound. July 26th is the big day. Hopefully, I'll be able to share a few Baby Walker #2 pictures with you soon. YAY
